About Me
I have had a passion for making art since an early age. My parents recognized my creative spirit and enrolled me in painting classes early on, where I discovered a love for color, texture, pattern, and contrast. Growing up, I loved camping in California's Eastern Sierra Nevada mountains; there, I developed a deep love and respect for nature, which has permanently influenced my art and lifestyle.
As I grew older, I pursued faux painting and interior design in Scottsdale, AZ, where I opened my business and collaborated with designers, contractors, and a diverse client base for over 15 years. It was amazing to create natural, organic, textural earth-inspired walls and spaces that showcased my love of nature while enhancing the beauty of their surroundings.
After moving to Prescott, AZ, 18 years ago, I gave up my business, and I now work on a smaller scale in my home studio, using watercolors, oil paints, soft pastels, and other mediums to create expressive art pieces. Living in Arizona for over 30 years has further deepened my connection to the mystical, natural world around me. The vibrant colors of the sunset, the rich earth tones of the land, and the enchanting beauty of the desert southwest.
I've been honored to host painting retreats and online classes for women worldwide. In addition, I offer one-on-one painting sessions and local workshops at my home in Northern AZ. It is a magical space where I share my life with my husband, horses, and dogs. I enjoy exploring the vast National Forest steps away from my back door when I'm not in the studio.
