The versatility of this medium is remarkable, as it allows for the creation of layers upon layers on the canvas. This provides a rich and truly unique, tactile history of texture, pattern, and visual interest. One of the things I love most about Oil and Cold Wax is the fact that it's mixed with a soft wax product that makes it very user-friendly, unlike traditional oils, which can be tricky to use. I use soft scrappers and palette knives to apply it. This technique creates a stunning effect that is difficult to achieve with traditional paint brushes.
