As an artist, I am a blend of Alchemist, Mystic, Skeptic, and Poet all rolled into one. My paintings reflect my multi-faceted personality, and I love moving fluidly between these different aspects of myself. Every brush stroke and mark is an expression of the great mystery of life as I see it.
The majority of my paintings draw inspiration from nature and the desert southwest, a place I've called home for the past 30 years. This enchanting landscape is teeming with native spirits, flora, and fauna, which frequently appear in my work. Take a closer look; you might spot dream beings, shapeshifters, spirit walkers, and other living creatures nestled among the trees and woodlands.
My creations are a reflection of the world both inside and outside of me.
While nature is my primary source of inspiration, I also love capturing the simple moments that make up the incredible human experience. I am captivated by the mundane, which is very sacred to me: a woman lost in thought as she scrolls through her phone, someone washing dishes, two lovers wrapped in an intimate embrace, and so on. Painting daily life often becomes my work and adds richness and depth to my world.
